Please note this is a hands-on course that Does Not provide a certification card. This is to gain knowledge of how to initiate CPR for an adult, child, and infants. You will also learn how to use an AED properly and also how to preform abdominal thrusts for choking victims.
This course is designed for anyone who wants to learn CPR, not for job requirements, and is taught in a group setting using the AHA's Practice-While-Watching method. This focuses on hands on practice and real life scenarios.
This course will provide a two-year certification card. Heartsaver CPR is a course designed by the American Heart Associaction (AHA) to teach individuals, especially those with limited medical training, how to preform CPR and use an AED in a safe, timely, and effective manner. This Class is often needed for job, regulatory, or other requirements.
BLS (Basic Life Support) CPR training for Healthcare providers equips professionals with the skills to recognize life-threatening emergencies, preform high quality CPR, and use an AED, ultimately improving patient outcome in both prehospital and in-facility settings.
(A Travel Fee of $25 will be applied if over 25 miles)
Disclaimer - There is a knowledge test at the end of the class. You must pass with a score of 84% or better. If you fail the AHA BLS written exam, 1 re-take is allowed and the re-test will occur at a later date and will not happen on the same day the original class was taken. If you happen to fail the written test a second time, you will be required to pay again and re-take the whole class over.
